Hello! I'm Amy Razor, and I have had the incredible privilege of dedicating 32 years of my life to the field of education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services (NKCES), I am deeply committed to fostering positive change in the realm of education and empowering educators to thrive in our noble profession.

My journey in education began with a burning passion to make a difference in the lives of students and educators alike. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to wear various hats, from classroom teacher principal, curriculum specialist and eventually, to the leadership role I now hold at NKCES.

One of my core beliefs is that education is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about nurturing the holistic development of every individual. With this principle in mind, I have championed the integration of mindfulness practices into educational settings. Over the years, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative benefits of mindfulness for educators and students alike. Mindfulness, with its emphasis on self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional regulation, equips educators with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of the ever-evolving educational landscape.

At NKCES, we are on a mission to create a nurturing environment where educators can thrive, grow, and continue to inspire the next generation. By incorporating mindfulness into our professional development programs and school initiatives, we aim to not only enhance the well-being of educators but also improve the overall quality of education in Northern Kentucky.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an advocate for work-life balance and personal wellness. I firmly believe that when educators prioritize self-care and mindfulness, they are better equipped to provide a nurturing and empowering learning experience for their students.

As we journey together towards a brighter future for education, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Join me in this transformative journey, where we prioritize the well-being of educators, nurture the potential of every student, and collectively work towards building a more mindful and compassionate educational community.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with me. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the world of education.

Be Well,

Amy Razor
